We meet new people everyday that could help our business grow. Make sharing useful information a priority. Rather then talk about the weather, let folks know what you do. You don’t have to be pushy but if someone asks what you do, be prepared with a short easy to understand response.

Real estate is an exciting, lucrative, dynamic business. Go in armed with the facts and you may find yourself reaping handsome rewards.
This is a pretty good clip and informative post for real estate investors.
Well, I’m not really into real estate, can’t even sell a candy to a kid. Your video as well as its content are quite helpful. Let me try to use them for promoting or selling my web site instead and lets see if that will work for me. Thanks in advance.
Let us know how you make out! The concept of the Elevator Speech works in virtually any business. You simply want to create a little interest. It actually allows the other party to prescreen themselves.
I have always found the concept of an elevator speech very profound. I think when you tell a “core” story it always piques interest. I also strongly feel that an elevator speech can be used by employees within an organization where they can “sell” their ideas be if for new projects or generally to their manager (or seniors)
Great video, Augie
Thanks for sharing!

Hi, Thanks for the video. I have just been to your YouTube channel and subscribed. Your videos all seem very helpful and informative from their titles, though my internet connection is so slow here I have not watched them all yet, just this one.
How is the market where you are?
An great elevator speech in any field is an invaluable resource for any profesion. Especially real estate agents as we need to have a well thought out description of how we assist consumers. When you are networking you need to also be able to tell people the right referrals for you. Specifically. Another good thing is to make sure that you are a good listener as well.
Setting, communicating and confirming expectations is a great way to increase your success rate! I also agree with you on listening skills…a wise mentor once told me, “we only learn when we listen.”
To your success…

This post is exactly what i am looking for. now i can arm myself with more knowledge as i intend to enter the world of real estate.
Thanks a lot!
Elevator speech is important to all businesses. I always feel that if we can’t explain what we do clearly in 1 minute, we don’t have a clear idea of what we are offering.
I can’t stress enough how important it is for every salesperson and businessman to master the concept of elevator speech.
Thanks for sharing Augie.
The _ MOST _ important part of an elevator speech is that it always sounds smooth and genuine. If somebody thinks you’re a phony, or not-quite-ready-for-prime-time, you’re dead in the water.
Practice, practice, practice, and then practice in front of all of your friends and co-workers. Ask for their feedback. There is no substitute.
I totally agree and it is really important that one master the “elevator speech” because it makes all sales easier. Thanks for sharing this one sir, i know many would find it an interesting read.
Great advice! Thanks Tim…
To your success…

Hi Augie,
Great advice. It’s so important to be able to speak clearly and concisely about what you do. Here’s a twist to consider – I believe you can get “business cards” that are actually video clips that can be played in a laptop or pc. Using that would create a great impression.
I’ve heard of them and while they might make for a good direct mail piece, there is nothing like a good old face to face conversation to build rapport. This risk I see for new entrepreneurs or investors is they may look good on the video and cannot deliver the same quality message in person.
To your success…

Great and simple advice. An informative and helpful information not only in real estate world but also in other businesses. Augie, your video is great. Thanks for sharing!
It also depends on the flow and the clarity of it but the most important thing is how you deliver the speech. Quite interesting and yes I totally agree with you. A simple advice that is a great help for a business.
I just started and I tried this technique along with a couple others. It worked! I made my first sale and it definitely improved business. Thanks for the awesome advice!
Cheers
Sometimes the best advice is not complicated but straight forward and simple. Your point hit home with me because of that. Let people know what you do. There is nothing wrong with doing so, it makes real sense. You can easily do this without turning someone off or over advertising yourself.
