Absolutely. And practice makes perfect. I always advise people to get out and get your hands dirty. You will make mistakes, but it's all part of the learning process.

Great, motivating post. People who are good at something always have to put the hours in behind the scenes. They don't just put the hours in but constantly take themselves out of their comfort zone so that they are growing and improving at a rate which is faster than others. I feel motivated after reading this!

Nice, While having real estate purchased, borrowing 80-90% of purchase price is not at all uncommon. At times, 100% lends can also be made available. This completely depends upon location of lender, land, and borrowing position of yours. In other words, the percentage of lending depends on whether you secure employment on the professional basis or already possess other assets. Real estate wealth building is thus, a matter of your pre-accumulated wealth.

Absolutely, I think doing anything difficult and rewarding takes lots of practise to get right. One has to mistakes in order to be able to learn! If something is easy, there is rarely any significant reward! It seems people often want to do things that are easy and aren't prepared to put in the effort but being able to put in effort and take yourself out of your comfort zone is one of the greatest skills we can have!

"What I have learned that helps close more transactions than anything else is to be prepared for the big deal."

I never knew that there's this whole other aspect to real estate. I agree that being prepared is a good thing, but spotting that big deal and facing requires a whole different mindset. Sometimes, we wish to get a huge deal that when we receive it, we don't know what to do.

I've had both positive and negative experiences with real estate agents, and I did find that most of these were related to just how prepared the agent in question seemed to be when it came to showing me around, understanding the current market and being familiar with the pacing of transactions taking place at the time.
